i remember him saying that the newer ones have fancier features, but not what brand he liked. Heavier duty (of course), with an insulator so as not to burn one's hands sounds familiar, but that could be fryers too...

Mon, July 17, 2006 - 8:18 AMAB really went into the mechanics of pressure cookers in the episode "Pressure". He has used them in several eps., with chili and grains, but this is the ep. where he hounds W about buying one.

from what I could tell from the pics in the chat, the pressure cooker may be a Fagor 6-qt... since the show "Big Chili" aired in 2004, the models available today may look somewhat different than that pictured in the show...
